Life Drawing Workshop.
William de Ferrers School held a one-day
life drawing workshop for A2, AS and
GCSE level students in February 2006.
The workshop was run by the
Royal Academy of Arts Outreach Programme.
Students were led through a sequence of
fast-flowing exercises, each emphasising
a different aspect of drawing.
Initial Drawing
Students began the day by drawing a quick
initial figure, working in the way they would
normally draw, with no prior introduction by
the tutor on the approach to be taken.
Charcoal. A1 sheet.
