Key Stage 4 - Year 10. Still Life - 2003. William de Ferrers School
Year 10 students studied the Cubists and learnt about composition and multiple viewpoints.
They worked from observation, drawing natural and man-made forms to create a still-life composition. They then used their imagination to create a background and a surface for the objects to stand on.
Using knowlege previously gained about the Fauve and Expressionist's use of colour and tone, students completed their (A2 size) paintings using oils.
