Year 10 students visited the Courtauld Gallery.

They first had to view all the work on show.

They then made 2 studies, preferably in
colour, of sculptures or paintings.

They chose 2 themes from: landscape,
portraits, figures, abstract and still life.

They noted the names of the artists and
their work.

They made notes about the artists' use of:
line, shape, colour, pattern, texture, tone,
form, space and composition.

If the work was not completed during the
visit, they finished it at home.
