Year 7's half-term homework was to research "optical art", particularly where artists used line and colour to create optical effects. They could also look at examples with geometric shapes such as circles or cubes. Students had to write a few sentences on what they thought "optical art" is and why artists make this type of art.

They had to make notes about an artist well known for "optical art".

Students had to make a copy of a piece of "optical art" using felt pens or bold colouring pencils.
